The Detroit Lions have signed 27-year old LB Josh Bynes. Earlier in the year the Lions waived Josh Bynes off the Injured Reserve List due to a knee injury, with a injury settlement. But, his knee is good now and the Lions jumped at the chance to bring him back. Bynes played in 16 games for the Lions last year and he had 82 tackles, 1/2 a sack, 5 tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble and 5 passes defensed. Bynes has now played in 29 games in his first two years with the Lions and he has 104 tackles, 1/2 a sack, 7 tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception and 6 passes defensed. The Lions need all of the help that they can get on D and they were lucky that Bynes hadn’t signed with someone else before now.
